Hey there! I've just finished putting the finishing touches on a new game called Rude Blocks and I can't wait for you to give it a go.
In this game, a fish gets shot out of its fish bowl and hurled at the titular rude blocks. If it hits the blocks they get destroyed and the students earn points.
Here's how to play:
Adjust the various game settings to fit the needs of your class. For the first time, I recommend playing on normal and not adjusting the settings at the moment. Once your students get the hang of the game you can make it more difficult for them.
Follow the instructions on screen and ask your students a question.
Now, it's time to shoot a fish out of a fishbowl! Invite a student to the front of the class and allow them to play. They should watch carefully and touch the fishbowl when they want to shoot. The fish will fly out and bounce around.
The class will earn points based on how many blocks are destroyed.
To win the game, the students need to beat a specific score (as shown in the options and questions screen). You can adjust this score to make the game easier or more difficult. If students surpass the score and still have time left, keep track of this score for future games and have them try to beat that score.
If students are unable to beat this score after the last round...they lose and those rude blocks win.
Like a lot of my other games on this site, this is a question and answer game that you can use to practice any content. The content is set by you.
You can play the game in your browser here. This game will be free to play in your browser until November 18th. Then it will be 30RMB/$3.99 to purchase.
The full game will have some extra features such as using your own pictures as a way to ask questions as well as a team VS mode.
